Two Men Busted For Having Heroin Near Lakehurst Elementary School

The two men were also charged with intending to distribute the drug

Two men were indicted this past week for possessing heroin near Lakehurst Elementary School, according to Ocean County Courthouse records.

Brian M. McCauley and Nicolas A. Girgenti were charged with possessing heroin and intending to distrubte the drug.

Court records provided by the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday say the indicident occurred on June 30, 2012. The records say the two men allegedly intended to distribute the drug within 1,000 feet of the school.

Girgenti was released after posting $75,000 bail with no 10 percent option. McCauley was lodged in Ocean County Jail after not posting $50,000 bail with no percent option.
