Whiting, Brooklyn Man Arrested in Connection with Harassment Charge
Tremain L. Graham, 31, attempted to lure a 15 year-old girl into his vehicle in Lakehurst, allege police
A man with residential addresses in both Whiting and Brooklyn, NY has been arrested on a charge of harassment, say Lakehurst police.
Lakehurst Township Police Chief Eric Higgins reported that at 2:43 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, May 3, Sgt. Ronald Heinzman responded to a call from the in Lakehurst based on an unknown male subject in a gray-colored Mercury attempting to pick up a 15 year-old girl.
“Upon arrival, police learned that the female, 15 years of age, was approached by a male subject who drove up slowly as she was walking to a nearby school, asking her how old she was and where she lived. The female became alarmed and sought help from police at a nearby business, which was Domino's, where a call was made to police,” said Higgins.

As the girl notified police, the male subject circled the block and drove past the female again, staring at her. A license plate number was given to police, and a stop and hold was put out to neighboring authorities, identifying the suspect as 31 year-old Tremain L. Graham of Whiting and Brooklyn, NY, Higgins explained.
“Graham was located in Whiting at his mother's address, where he was arrested by Sgt. Ronald Heinzman on a charge of harassment. Graham was processed at the Lakehurst Police Department, processed, and remanded to the Ocean County Jail,” said Higgins.

Sgt. Heinzman was assisted with the arrest by Officers Scott Thompson and Thomas O'Hare of the Manchester Township Police Department.
