Woman Backs Car Into Neighbor's Garage

No injuries reported in Whiting incident

Manchester Township police were called to a residence in the Whiting section of the township on Friday afternoon for a report that a motor vehicle had crashed into a home.

Patrolman Richard Conklin learned that Antoinette Cerulli, 86, of Manchester, had backed her vehicle out of a driveway on Keene Street, continued across the street and up the driveway of another residence before crashing through a garage door and colliding with a vehicle that had been parked inside.

No one was inside the residence at the time of the crash and the driver did not sustain any injuries, according to a news release prepared by Lieutenant Vincent Manco.

Manchester Twp Building Inspector Gary Loftus responded to the scene
and deemed the residence safe to occupy.
