Gov. Chris Christie's town hall appearance in Middletown has been rescheduled because of an anticipated Nor'easter on Thursday.
Christie is expected to discuss distribution of federal Sandy recovery funds during the stop at Middletown VFW Post 2179 in Port Monmouth now slated for on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The 110th town hall will mark Christie's first time taking questions from a crowd since allegations of politically-motivated George Washington Bridge lane closures surfaced in January.
Doors open at 10 a.m., with the event starting at 11 a.m. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis and open to the public. No bags are permitted in the venue. Residents may RSVP for the session at TownHall.Middletown@gov.state.nj.us.
Following the town hall session, a Christie Administration Mobile Cabinet will remain on site to meet with affected residents and answer Sandy-related questions regarding housing and business assistance programs.
