County Sets Hazardous Waste Disposal Dates

Household hazardous waste may be brought to several locations

Household horrors will be collected again this fall at five locations in Ocean County, according to Freeholder James F. Lacey.

The goal of the county's annual household hazardous waste collection program program is to keep poisons stored around homes out of the in Manchester Township, and out of the environment, he explained.

Operated for years by the county’s Department of Solid Waste Management, the free program allows homeowners to get rid of the poisons by turning them over to a firm that specializes in disposing of them.
