Excellent advice Freeholder Vicari. Thanks for standing in for the Sheriff with this public service notification. There is nothing worse than slick con artists attempting to take advantage of our senior citizens, especially during a state of emergency. I wish you all the success in the world in bringing such conniving degenerates to justice as soon as possible.

This is nothing more then a sin that people want to take advantage like this. i hope and pray that these people get caught and have to pay a hefty fine. I know we own a handyman business, and i can't even begin to tell you how many of the senior are very much taken advantage of. Getting prices of 12 to 1500.00 to remove a tree????
Some people aren't even covered under their insurance so this is money taken out of pocket. i know removing a tree, is not an easy job it's big time labor. This is not the time to take advantage of anyone. how rude is it to take advantage of these poor soles, or anyone for that matter. "IMHO" why do some feel like this is the time to take advantage????? That's adding insult to injury!!

The United States is FAR too liberal in dishing out any penalties to such scum. Force them all into community services such as cleaning up after Sandy and helping all of the poor folks affected by this disaster, after that work them til they drop. Also BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. Why should the good people support this sort of trash while they live in our tax supported prisons.

There was a time I viewed Coach products as an asset in personal style satisfaction. Unfortunately, your repeated crude and unwanted advertising of Coach products in reader's comments on the Patch indicates that Coach can no longer compete in the legitimate marketplace and must resort to the styles and practices of its once former knockoff sales outlets. Since the handles used on the Patch for this advertising campaign are used over and over again, it's unreasonable to believe this practice isn't sanctioned by Coach. As such, I'm sure you will understand why this family of 14 won't be shopping for Coach this holiday season for either themselves or their friends. However, your current advertising practices are allowing us some fun in asking those we see with Coach products if they bought them when Coach was still a healthy Coach organization or if they just got suckered with a Coach named product from a company that is reducing its standards of quality operation. Many of the responses to this avenue of thought have been priceless.
