Fressola, Incumbent Councilmen File To Run Again

Fressola, Wallis and Weiner running on "Continued Good Government" slate

Mayor Michael Fressola, Council President Craig Wallis and Council Vice–President Brendan Weiner have filed petitions to run in the municipal elections in November.

Fressola is seeking his fourth term as mayor. Both Wallis and Weiner are seeking their fourth terms of the Township Council. They are running under the "Continued Good Government Team" banner, according to a press release.

“We are proud to run on our record of stable taxes, financial integrity and an honest and open government”, said Fressola, a longtime resident of Leisure Knoll.  The Continued Good Government Team has met these goals for the last 24 years and we will continue to work together for the people of Manchester."

Wallis - who lives in Pine Lake Park - said the team will continue to focus on public safety.

"Manchester has been hailed as one of the safest communities in New Jersey, providing first class law enforcement protection for its citizens as well as first class fire protection and emergency services," he said.

Council Vice President Brendan Weiner - also a Pine Lake Park resident - said the team will continue to encourage public participation in municipal government."

"We will continue to provide top rate services and excellent parks and recreational opportunities while keeping low property taxes a priority," Weiner said.

Fressola encouraged residents to visit the team's website at www.continuedgoodgovernment.com

“From the beginning of this campaign we want to keep the public informed as to what we have done and what we intend to do," the mayor said.
