Manchester Agrees To Allow For Some Smaller Driveways

The Manchester Council agreed Monday to allow for shorter driveways on a number of smaller-sized lots in the western areas of the township.

The council, during its Monday meeting, approved an ordinance by a 4-1 vote to allow for 20-foot driveways on smaller-sized lots in the Pinelands Retirement Commuinity zones.

These zones are primarily located in retirement communities west of Lakehurst. The ordinance had limited such driveways to 25 feet.

Councilman Sam Fusaro voted against the plan, saying he would have preferred that acton be taken by the zoning board.
