Skilled Nursing Facility Testimony on Zoning Board's Thursday Agenda

Board will meet at 7 p.m. at Manchester Township High School

The application for a skilled nursing facility is one of three cases that Manchester's Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider during its Thursday night regular meeting.

Members will continue to hear expert testimony in the Manchester Rehab Realty facility proposed for 3086 Ridgeway Rd. when the board meets at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of .

A variance is required for construction since the property where the applicant wants to build the facility is zoned as residential. Since the application's introduction in June,  have spoken out against it, as they fear it may lower their quality of life and property values.

Zoning board officials said that it may be possible to finish hearing testimony within the next few meetings. The last meeting at which the application was heard was in March, that sound levels generated at the proposed site would be within state and township regulations. 

Also on the agenda are variance applications for a home awning addition and a home proposed to be built on an undersized lot in Pine Lake Park.
