A new date for the hearing has not be scheduled

The special meeting of the to hear testimony on the proposed STS Tire and Auto Center and Dunkin Donuts site was postponed Thursday night at the request of the applicant.

The board was to vote on a use variance and preliminary and final site plan for the proposed project, which would be built at the former Exxon gas station site on the corner of routes 70 and 539. The Dunkin Donuts store would operate with a drive-thru, and the STS site would have 5,880-square-foot vehicle maintenance and automotive repair facility.

The Manchester Environmental Commission previously recommended the applicant, Whiting Realty Partners LLC, check for any remaining fuel containment tanks on the site, before seeking approval.
