Zoning Meeting to Continue Testimony for Skilled Nursing Home

Testimony and questioning in the controversial Manchester Rehab Realty facility variance and site plan application will continue at 7 p.m. Thursday at , when the applicant's traffic expert is expected to appear.

Though meetings are usually scheduled for the last Thursday of each month, the board had scheduled November's meeting earlier to accommodate the Thanksgiving holiday.

At , testimony focused on an updated site plan proposal for the nursing home facility, and was provided by Michael Thomas of Wall-based Innovative Engineering – along with his firm’s attorney Harvey York. The evening also featured cross-examination from attorney Lisa John, who represents the Manchester Neighbors organization (who oppose the facility’s construction) and members of the public, regarding the facility’s updated site plan.
