Board of Education Will Hold Regular Meeting Wednesday

Board will meet one week earlier than originally planned

Manchester's will meet Wednesday, April 18, not next week as originally announced.

The board's regular meeting was tentatively scheduled for April 25 — the fourth Wednesday of the month — to allow officials enough time to certify election results.

Since the board voted in January to move its elections to November, the April meeting does not need to be held later in the month, according to Business Administrator Craig Lorentzen.

"The April board meeting has always been a tentative date because it had to be after the school election since it was necessary to certify the election results," he said in an email. "However, since the election will now be in November, we are able to schedule our meeting on the third Wednesday of the month which is our normal meeting date."

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in media center.
