The following is a letter originally posted to the Manchester Township PTA's Facebook page asking for volunteers to help organize the annual gift auction, which is tentatively scheduled for April. To all our Manchester Parents and Friends,
As many of you are aware our PTA holds a Gift Auction every year. The Gift Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year and as of now we do have one person who volunteered to help. But, it is a huge obligation and commitment and we really need one more person to step up.
Some of you are not aware of this but our PTA is for five schools: all three elementary schools, the middle school and the high school. If we don't have anyone to help then certain programs, activities and funding will not be available.
The Manchester PTA provides and supports programs that help promote and reinforce the high standards of quality in education that our children need. We know everyone is busy, but if you or someone you think would be great for the job can help, we'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
