Middle School Geography Bee Winners Honored

Organizer and teacher Patricia Pontus-Martin spoke about the importance of geography in everyday lives and expressed her pride in the winners

Winners of the annual Manchester Township Middle School National Geographic Society Geography Bee were honored at the February 20, 2013 Board of Education meeting.

Organizer and teacher Patricia Pontus-Martin spoke about the importance of geography in everyday lives and expressed her pride in the winners.

Taking first place this year was 7th grader Antonio Jean-Denis, who was presented with a medal and is hoping to qualify for the state competition.

Second place went to 6th grader Elisabeth Hudak and 8th grader Nick Pellicano took third place.
