Middle School Students 'Stick It to Cancer'

Teacher gets taped to the wall in this fundraiser for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Every year, the Manchester Township Middle School Impact Club participates in the Pasta for Pennies fundraiser with proceeds donated to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

As part of this fundraising effort, this year they held a new event called Stick it to Cancer, that involved a staff member, Mr. Robert Morris, being stuck to the wall in the cafeteria. During the six lunch periods, students were invited to purchase a piece of duct tape at the cost of one dollar, and the tape was applied to Mr. Morris. At the end of the lunch periods, when the chair he was standing on was removed, Mr. Morris remained stuck to the wall!

$160.00 was raised during the "Stick it to Cancer" event, with a total of $2,144.29 raised overall for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
