New Copier Contract Will Save Manchester Schools Money

New copier contract, credits on construction project noted

A new lease agreement for copiers that goes into effect Jan. 1 is expected to save the  $2,200 per month, the Board of Education was told on Wednesday night.

Board Secretary and Business Administrator Craig Lorentzen, in describing the contract, said it would replace the district's current copy machines, including copiers that no longer functioned properly.

In addition, the contract includes a copier that can be networked throughout the school so that teachers who need to print a longer document can print directly to the copier, rather than using up the more expensive ink that goes in the printers in their classrooms.
