OCC Graduation Planned for May 26

Monmouth University president is guest speaker

The 44thย graduation ceremony at Ocean County College will take place at 6 p.m. May 26 on the college mall, according to OCC President Dr. Jon Larson.

If it rains the ceremony will be shifted to the Poland Spring Arena at Toms River High School North on Old Freehold Road.

Admiral Paul G. Gaffney, the president of Monmouth University in West Long Branch, will be the guest speaker, Larson said.

A reception for the college community will be held prior to commencement from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the atrium at the Arts and Community Center.

The Nursing Pinning Ceremony is set for 7:30 p.m. May 24. The Awards Ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. May 25. Both will be held in the theater in the newly renovated and expanded Arts and Community Center.
