Regional Day School Bids Farewell to 2011 Grads

Graduates presented principal with a grandfather clock they constructed

Four students graduated from the Manchester-managed Regional Day School in Jackson on Thursday morning.

Graduates were Alexander Tafaro, of Manchester, and Christopher Brandt and Craig Erick, of Plumstead. The name of a graduate from Jackson was withheld.

Awards were presented to students and Industrial Arts teacher Jeffrey Bishop and the class of 2011 presented a grandfather clock they constructed to principal Ralph Lotierzo.

The singing group Evolution performed in front of students and parents. The school's chior, the Regional Day School Singers, performed "Friends Forever" and finished the graduation with "Good-Bye and Farewell."

Lotierzo said that he is proud of the graduates and their success and thanked parents, students and staff for thier support.

The principal closed his remarks by telling the graduates to "stay in touch."
