New date for fundraising golf event will be announced soon

The threat of inclement weather today has forced organizers to postpone a Manchester Township Education Foundation golf fundraiser.

A message posted to the organization's Facebook page Monday morning promises that a new date will be announced "soon" for the 4th annual outing, which was scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Eagle Ridge Golf Course in Lakewood.

"We are sorry to announce that, due to impending thunderstorms, our Golf Outing is CANCELLED for today," the post reads
