Theobold, a senior 145-pounder, pinned Nick Lospinosa of Brearley at the 4:50 mark in the quarterfinals. He faces top-seeded T.J. Miller of Camden Catholic in the semifinals.

Knapp (41-0) scored a takedown in the closing seconds for a 5-3 decision over Camden Catholic's Jeff Miller and will wrestle Roy Lucas of St. Joseph of Hammonton, a junior who's 38-1.

Meanwhile, alive in the consolation bracket are Richard Lewis of Toms River East, Central Regional's Jalen Ramos, Manchester's Jesse Meaney and Matt Moore of Brick Memorial. All four have earned a place on the medal stand.

Lewis, a junior, lost Friday night in the prequarterfinals to Pequannock's R.J. DeGeorge, a senior. He earned a 9-2 decision over Steven Schneider of Emerson Park Ridge and beat freshman Jimmy Schuitema of Phillipsburg in the second round, 8-6. Lewis (34-4) faces Katon Washington of Montclair this evening.

Ramos (37-5) was pinned by top-seeded Anthony Ashnault of South Plainfield in the 126-pound quarterfinals but bounced back to beat Connor Burkert of St. Peter's Prep 6-3. He faces Justin Colon (41-2), a senior from Belleville.

Meaney, who was knocked into the 132-pound consolation bracket on Friday night by Connor Melde of Bergen Catholic, beat Jackson Memorial's Brad Royle, the Region VI champion 5-4, then pinned R.J. DeGeorge of Pequannock in 27 seconds. The senior, who's 35-3, faces Maaziah Bethea, a Trenton Central sophomore, in the evening bout.

Moore (19-3) lost to Haddonfield's Carson Stack, a senior, in the quarterfinals, 5-2, but beat Anthony Tancs of Brearley, 7-2, to stay alive. Moore, a junior, faces sophomore Bryan Dobzanski of Delsea, who's 35-2.
