Monday, July 16

  • Registration for a talent show at of the Ocean County Library begins today. Anyone age 5 or up is welcome to showcase his or her talent at an Oct. 6 showcase. Registrations must be completed by Sept. 17.

  • The  Environmental Commission is scheduled to convene at 7 p.m. in the municipal complex courtroom for its regular July meeting.

Wednesday, July 18

  • Joel and the Dynamics and The Infernos will play at Harry Wright Lake for the second of four 2012 ConcertFest performances beginning at 6 p.m.

  • Lakehurst's Borough Council will meet for its single July regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Center on Center Street. A Redevelopment Agency meeting will begin at 7 p.m. The agenda is available online

Friday, July 20

  • An outdoor performance of selections from "Fiddler on the Roof" by The Studio Stage that was rescheduled from last weekend will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Whiting Town Center parking lot. 

Saturday, July 21

  • The 35th annual Wooden Boat Festival will be held in Toms River's Huddy Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vendors, artists, food and rides will be on hand. Call 732-349-9209 for more information.
