Manchester Library to Host Cancer Awareness Fair Saturday

Fair covers everything from information about various cancers to screening information to resources for those battling cancer

Curious to know about the symptoms of skin cancer? Want more information about prostate cancer and how it's treated? Need help finding breast cancer screenings in the area?

The Manchester branch of the Ocean County Library will help answer those questions during its Cancer Awareness Fair on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library, on Colonial Drive.

"This is a program near to my heart," said Donna Risner, a reference library assistant at the Manchester branch who organized the event. "I am a six-month breast cancer survivor, so this is important to me."
