Smitty's Foodtown is a family owned and operated grocery store. There is a full bakery, deli and seafood department. There is a pharmacy inside, along with a "cash for gold" kiosk. A club card gives you extra savings. Smitty's Foodtown offers a home shopping service so you can place your order and it will be picked and delivered for you.

There are bins by the exit for the Whiting Food Pantry which accept donations of non-perishable foods.
