I left my car for underhood repair. One of their "professional" mechanics shoved the hoodRead More up so far that he smashed the windshield. The owner, Sal, was on vacation and wanted to wait till he returned the following Monday to decide if he was going to pay to have it replaced. After looking at the car on Monday he decided it wasn't their fault and wasn't going to pay for it. After going around and around for awhile Sal said he would call me with his final answer. He never called. Finally, I called and he said he changed his mind and that he would be in touch with me to give me the particulars. He didn't call, and I, again, went to his shop. He asked me in person ( he never made a courtesy call once), if Friday would me O.K. to have his glass man change the windshield. I said yes, but could I have the name and phone number of the glassman as there were a couple of questions I wanted to ask him before he worked on my car. He refused. I saw that he was getting increasingly agitated, and because he wouldn't cooperate with giving me the glassmans number, I said I'll take care of it myself and I'll send you the bill, and then you can pay for it. He said, "You do that, motherf----r, and get the f--k out of my shop". I was called a motherf----r twice, a f--king a-hole once, and was told three times to get the f--k out of his shop. He also asked if I wanted a piece of him. I left in utter disbelief that a business owner could act like this toward a customer, which I and my family members have been for years. That's over. I regretfully called Sal a moron, which to me is another word for stupid. I sunk to his level. How stupid can you be to save $300 on a windshield change and lose four customes for life? Patronize this repair shop at your own peril.
