ReplyWell Done Wall Township Committee, Well Done!!
You have hit the points all the "suits" don't want to see, you see now, the problem is a utility is a monopoly, working firstly, for the stockholders, then the paying customers.
What's wrong with "buil as you can afford to", stockholders being made aware that during times of crisis, any crisis, or necessary system upgrades, their return might not be forthcoming.
Why did so many transformers explode, I suggest it's because of the antiquated system, many of those transformers I saw personally had no primary fuses, this means that when the falling tree limbs bring wires to touch each other a short circuit condition exists, there is no way for this condition to be relieved (no fuses, remember?) the transformer is excessively overloaded, overheats, and ultimately explodes!
I also spoke to linemen not associated with JCP&L, they were frustrated to say the least, they had little or no direction, and even worse, they would receive a repair order that maybe, was fixed in a short time 2hrs. or less, then there was no further repair orders available (say issued) for, sometimes, hours, they just waited.
My vent is finished!

ReplyI must agree with Jesse, in addition, we need a full "forensic audit" of how Wall Township is spending our money, if you were to look at the budget as published I defy you to tell me where the monies are being spent.
This is not the only problem that I find troubling, what do you think?
Paul Draper
There are categories called "other" sometimes containing millions of taxpayers dollars with no further explainaton, this is not in the least, satisfactory to me and I'm sure other Wall Taxpayers.

See how we're spending our tax money and DON'T BE SILENT!
Thanks everyone, see you there!

ReplyI have obtained a copy of 3-2012 from the Twp. clerk (available to anyone just for asking at Twp. Hall) I my opinion it seems filled with items which do not meet criteria for Bonding.
However it's a good way to shift the burden of paying for this "stuff" to our progeny!
Oh Well, could you get me another beer & pass the remote?

Seems to me a major component of this story is missing! For each and every player in this display of greed, someone received a "quid pro quot", their names should be there and they should be immediately removed from their positions of trust! Wonder how much this known "Greed Crime" has cost the Wall Township taxpayers and how much more is to be discovered? Are they not equally guilty? Why are they not equally prosecuted? They are not mentioned anywhere that I've seen and seem free to repeat this "greed crime" the next time the opportunity presents itself!
